INBOUND: YOUR DEPARTURE FROM THE AIRPORT TO RESORT
When arriving on chartered or scheduled flights, operations will solely depend on which airport you have chosen to fly into -
- Geneva Airport - GVA
- Chambery Airport - CMF
- Lyon 'St Exupery' Airport - LYS
- Grenoble 'St Geoirs' Airport (Grenoble Isere Airport) - GNB
- Annecy Airport - NCY
- Lyon 'Bron' Airport - LYN
All the airports and ground service companies that operate them run slightly differently to one another. If you decide to fly to your chosen resort by helicopter, Whitetracks Helicopters will provide you all the details needed for the smooth transition from plane to helicopter at your chosen airport.
INBOUND: YOUR ARRIVAL IN RESORT FROM THE AIRPORT
Whitetracks helicopters can usually organise transport from the heli-pad in your chosen resort to your accommodation free of charge through the company or hotel that you are staying with.
If your accommodation providers do not provide this service Whitetracks Helicopters can organise a taxi through Whitetracks Vehicles that will be charged as extra to the cost of the helicopter transfer. This should be paid directly to the taxi driver once you arrive at your hotel or chalet unless otherwise pre-arranged with Whitetracks.
OUTBOUND: YOUR DEPARTURE FROM RESORT TO THE AIRPORT
Whitetracks Helicopters will provide you with a time of departure - this time will be when the helicopter is due to take-off in order to complete its mission. Please be at the Helipad before the designated time allowing plenty of time to load and get ready before take-off.
OUTBOUND: YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT FROM RESORT
When the helicopter lands at the airport you will be met by ground services who will then escort you to where you need to check in for your flight home. If you have organised an excess luggage transfer this will be the time when the Whitetracks Rep, chalet company Rep or taxi driver will need to reunite you with your excess luggage. Please ensure that you have the contact number of the person who is delivering your luggage to the airport.
